Cash Heist City

Project Details

Grand Theft Auto VI is one of the most anticipated game releases in history, and for millions of kids, it was a world they couldn't access. Whether too young or restricted by parents wary of mature content, an entire audience was locked out of the cultural moment everyone around them would be talking about. Our goal was simple: build that world for them in Fortnite.

The challenge was credibility on multiple fronts. Fans of the genre are passionate and know exactly how that world should feel, and Fortnite's audience is fast-moving; if you don't catch their attention in the first few seconds, they're gone. That meant the launch animation couldn't just be good. It had to be mistakable for something Epic Games would make themselves. Anything less and we'd lose the audience before they ever set foot in the map.

Our stylistic North Star became Fortnite's iconic color language — bright blue skies, bold reds and greens, and rich gradients that felt native to the platform while still carrying the sun-soaked energy of an open world built for exploration. That visual identity ran consistently across every asset we produced, from social videos and campaign graphics to the launch animation itself.

To raise the production bar even further, we became the first UGC studio to partner with Kitbash3D, bringing a level of asset quality into Fortnite Creative that the space hadn't seen before. Every visual decision was made in service of one goal: bring the world to the players who'd been left outside it.
